Here is another sweetie pie waiting for a caring family.
“Shant’ira, born 07/99, is a very bubbly, outgoing, and friendly person. Shant’ira enjoys coloring, reading, and being photographed. She is in regular grade placement. She is in good health. A family for Shant’Ira will need to be strong advocates and willing to address her special needs. Shant’Ira recieves counseling to help her adjust to her hurtful past. According to her foster parents, she will sometimes have sporadic behavioral outbursts at school and at home. Her new family will require having patience in redirecting her behaviors. Shant’Ira will do well with an adoptive family with supports. The family must provide a stimulating and nuturing environment where Shant’Ira can grow and reach her full potential. Shant’Ira is part of a sibling group. She resides in the same home of sister. The adoptive family should be willing to allow her contact with her four siblings. Shant’Ira is a wonderful child waiting to be part of a loving and committed family.” (source)
