There are jerks of every race, religion, color, creed, nationality, ethnicity etc. It is IMPOSSIBLE to tell what a bad guy looks like and anyone who attempts to is an idiot. Anyone who encourages others to see a particular group as bad, like Wright, is worse than an idiot, he is an ass.

I’m kind of curious as to why you all have so readily dismissed Dr. Wright as a cook. What he said was inappropriate and hurtful, indeed. Too bad all of it is true.

I liked Obama’s speech today. But – in my mind, he really did not address why he attended this church for 20 years rather than going somewhere else.

It strains credulity to believe that Obama really didn’t know about the views of Wright before now…..

It is more than just attending. He is a tithe paying member for 20 years. Carl that is my biggest problem with Obama supporters his blackness is not a reason to accept anything. “surpassed him in leadership” So if I make more money than my pastor and have a wider audience in my secular world than I no longer look to my pastor for spiritual guidance? Saudia, in all honesty I’m completely ready to accept more that you, me, and the rest of this county have accepted from every president since 1776. The big difference being that whatever I have to accept from Obama is at least chocolate coated; so it goes down a lot easier.

Obama didn’t call him a “crazy uncle”. What is this site backed by Fox news or something. Besides, what kind of fool agrees with everything thier pastor says? Try to focus on the big picture here; Obama has to appeal to ALL voters not just the Black ones. I’m sure Rev. Wright understands that.
