For years, the United States has been on its phony quest to solve the middle east crisis. Photo op after photo op somehow convinces people on both sides of this issue that serious progress is taking place in the dispute between Israel and their Palestinian neighbors. The same American dollars that aids Israel to defend itself against attacks from their enemies are now also bringing aid to the enemies themselves. Bush’s decision to provide the money breaks with long-standing restrictions on direct U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority and is part of what the White House called a renewed push for peace following the death of long-time Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. (…more)

For years, Arafat used aid money to fund groups like Haamas. Although he is gone, I am quite sure Palestinian leadership have learned the ways of the force.

Haamas wishes to thank you, the American taxpayer for your support.
