Pedro, this has nothing to do w/ Bush. I would say Bush is at least 1000 times better than castro simply because Bush will only be in power 8 years total, and not 40 yrs and counting. In case you haven’t noticed most people don’t worship Bush any way close to the way Castro is worshipped. How exactly are they the same? They aren’t. You’ve lowered the bar for “same-ness” really, really, reaaaaaallly low.

Is obvious but is not new that Cuba govertment , call it Castro if you want, have very powerfull tactics and they work, every body wants something and if you wanted you have to give something in return, contious or involuntary, now how you prefer to get your title ? the way you found it on the story or Killing all sort of people in Irack and after that you could go to med school all pay by the army, can you see your doble standart or you need help.

Do you realy think that Bush is much better than Castro?, Can you sale that idea?

They both have an agenda and they do not care about people the way they say they do, you are a pawn like every body else, your only choice is to embrace who put food on your table.

Castro is evil and despicable but Bush share the same fate.

Very brave of you to be this honest Duane … that’s having cojones!

Facing Castro’s powerful mercenary machine within the Black community is very critical. Violent class struggle is the aim of the Cuban indoctrination of the Afro American community. Black Panthers also once believed Fidel’s calling songs…and they shipwrecked their dreams… many in Cuban dungeons!

I hope you can help to save the Afro American youth from being used by a foreign anti American despot.

I have a friend who traveled to Cuba and was part of a women’s group that went to “dialogue” with Cuban women. When she came back, she had all KINDS of rhetoric she was throwing around that was clearly Castrowashed. It amazes me how some people in this country who are dissatisfied with the opportunities or hand they have been dealt are so quick to embrace another government in such an idealized light. No matter what “side” you’re on, I always ask people to THINK CRITICALLY. How can we demonize America and deify Castro when people are floating on popsicle sticks in shark-infested waters to get out of there? It only requires one to open their eyes and realize they are being fed a line by the Cuban government when they go on these “educational/cultural exchanges”.

I am a black cuban, came to miami 4 yrs ago. people open your eyes racism is alive and well in cuba, we are concidered low class citizen in our country were the government boast equallity. only those black cuban that the goverment organ grinder throw us a bone and we dance for the world to see say black are # 1 in cuba

Sorry, but as someone who HAS traveled to Cuba quite a few times I’d have to agree that there isn’t the same sort of racial tension there as there is in the States, and there ARE more African-American men dying violently in the States than in Cuba. I’m not pro-Castro by any stretch of the imagination, and the Cuban medical system is abysmal, but it really makes me angry when people making ANY sort of statement that is positive about Cuba are called ‘brainwashed’. There are plenty of people who left Cuba, my family included, yet there are many who decided to stay (my family included). Funny how that works.

Excellent work Duane! Somehow castro’s propaganda machine (with help from the MSM) has hidden the horrible conditions that Black Cubans must endure in their own country. There is official apartheid enforced to limit Cubans’ contact with tourists. Thanks for helping spread the ugly truth about castro’s abuses!

Thanks for letting the world know about the racist and fascist regime 90 miles from our shores.

While Black Cubans like Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet languish in jail for teaching Cubans about Dr. Martin Luther King and his non violent struggle for racial justice, so called Black leaders like Maxine Waters, Charles Rangel, Lucious Walker and the NAACP continue to defend the racist dictator in Cuba.

How many Black Cuban are among the top leaders of the Castro regime. NOT ONE!

Castro and his brother, White; Carlos Lage, White; Perez Roque, White; Ricardo Alarcon, White. The only Black who became a General and was very popular in Cuba was Arnaldo Ochoa, and Castro sent him to the firing squad.
