Randall was the most qualified and he got selected. The best man won. He should not have been asked to hire Rebecca. The object of the show was to hire the apprentice. Maybe, there is a place in the Trump organization later, just not the one on the show at this time. Peace

I thought Randel should have won but what I can’t understand is why someone would want to walk away from their owe successful business to work for someone with a bad hair style. I’d much rather be my owe boss.

He won, and he deserved the position. Unlike Kwame in season 1, he did not drop the ball, and let a woman steal his thunder.

Just a correction. Last season the final two where both women. But I agree that his decision was clearly about politics, and public perception. I think he wanted to hire Rebbecca. But he thought about it and said to himself “the public is gonna kill me on this.” So he hires Randal and gambles that his “niceness” would allow him to hire Rebbecca too.

I agree, but think about the question, he asked if he were Trump would he have hired her to run his business. There was obvious pause in his response because the true answer to the question is NO he wouldn’t. I wouldn’t and if it was anyone’s multibillion dollar company you wouldn’t either.

Rebecca didn’t really shine until the absolute last task, and she has a 1 and 2 record as a project manager. Think about this question, would you hire a 23 year old, with a losing record as a Project Manager, no experience running a business, to run YOUR billion dollar project? Randal gave the truthful answer in this situation, unless you wanted the man to lie, and in that case the question shouldn’t have been proposed to him.

Also Trump hired a woman in Season 3 (the season no one cared about), and also when Rebecca was on a team full of women, she was shut out from giving any type of input, a true leader should be able to be involved and respected whether they are the leader or not.

Yes he has – last season he hired Kendra, a woman.
