Information technology entrepreneur Jacqui Brown offers inspiration to entrepreneurs aspiring to gross millions

Jacqueline Brown is a people person. This may explain why her company, People Processing Information, based in Silver Spring, Maryland, had revenues of more than $20 million in 2004. The company provides professional and administrative support and information technology software and solutions to the U.S. federal government. Brown started the business in 1987 with money she secured through various real estate transactions.

“I reinvested the money I received when I sold one house for another house,” she says. “I just kept reinvesting the money until I owned several houses and had enough income to start my own business.” (more…)
