Naw…you did not miss a thing! I’m like you in that I can’t get past Mo’Nique’s voice and personality. I was flipping the channels and caught her and her “crew” doing a Beyonce impression…needless to say I kept on flipping.

I wish I had kept flipping. After all the other repeat shows finished at 9p central. I turned in time to see them give tribute to Diana Ross. That was okay. But when lil wayne/flip whatever his ghetto a– name is won an award, I regretted immediately watching. Why don’t we learn, he had his kids up on stage looking like bobo the clown and he didn’t look much better with his baggy jeans and t-shirt. I was so disappointed in Ciara’s performance as well-she was just trashy to me. And I didn’t like the fact that they had flavor flav singing James Brown songs–they could have done much more justice to a tribute of James Brown. You did miss Don Cheadle receiving humanitarian award, which I truly feel he deserves and that was probably the best part of the show. Keep in mind I only watched an hour and felt humiliated and degraded during that time, just think how i would have felt if I had watched all 3 hours of that nonsense. Good choice helping your kid with his music or whatever you were doing, next year I’m going to the movies. Roz
