They had a couple of sistahs on there these past two nights that could really blow. I mean, we had to rewind it to make sure we were hearing what we thought we heard. One really sounded like Gladys Knight.

My thing is that the show does not go into people’s homes and catch them in ths shower singing. These people go wait in lines for hours sometimes days to get on the show.

VB please don’t even bring up Rosie the “Man Hater” Donnell. her comments show how far from touch she really is.

The purpose of television is to entertain and this crap along with the Flavor of Love, I Love New York , The Surreal life, etc… is funny, sad but funny, and entertaining.

First of all, I can’t look at American idol, because I feel sorry for the contestants, not to mention embarrassment, shame…whatever! But feeling under pressure from my sister (who by the way loves oddities, she goes to the library to check out books on the world’s oddest people, animals and (gulp) things, I tuned in to American idol and the first thing I see is a man trying to sing and Lord knows he can’t help it, but he looked…special. I could not bear to see them make fun of him, so I had to turn it off. I really feel sorry for those people. But I did hear in response to Rosie O’ Donnell’s comment bashing the show because it appears to make fun of people, one of the contestant’s say, “We make the choice to come on the show” .

oooooookay? enough said…
