About BlackDoctor.Org
Blackdoctor.org is the definitive health portal for African Americans. It is the only resource where Blacks can go to get current, accurate information on how to manage their health and their lives. When it comes to healthcare, the general population guidelines don’t always apply to Blacks. The latest research speaks to “Evidence Based Medicine†and how Blacks are different due to such factors as genetics, culture and lifestyle.
Consequently, there needs to be a dedicated website that deals specifically with Black healthy lifestyle issues. Blackdoctor.org is that website.
This dynamic, interactive platform is designed to educate, inform and motivate all Americans of African descent.
Reginald Ware, CEO
The visionary behind Blackdoctor.org is Reginald Ware. Ware is the founder of Heart & Soul Magazine, which was the first healthy lifestyle magazine for African American women. In its prime, Heart & Soul touched the lives of over one million African American women and served as a unique lifestyle guide who’s central theme was “You can do it.â€Â Now Heart & Soul Magazine is published by Edwin Avent out of Baltimore MD, who shares Ware’s commitment of improving the quality of life for African Americans.
Ware list of achievements include developing a leading gaming portal on the Internet called winhourly.com and working with major Media companies, most recently or which has been Vanguarde Media and Black Enterprise Magazine.
Now Ware’s focus has returned to his original dream and passion. Blackdoctor.org is not ahead of its time but its time has certainly come. Now Americans of African decent can come to one location, Blackdoctor.org, and find answers to all of their healthcare questions and concerns. While Blackdoctor.org is not the total solution to eradicating the healthcare gap, it clearly is a step in the right direction.
