(WTNH) _ Last month, Plainville resident, Sheree Farrell was crowned Mrs. Connecticut 2007. The competition recognizes outstanding married women who juggle home, family, volunteerism and career. Sheree, who is the first African American woman from Connecticut to wear the crown also serves on Senator Barack Obama’s Presidential Campaign. (source)
(woai.com) Miss Fort Bend County was named Miss Texas U-S-A at last night’s pageant in Laredo.
Twenty-five-year-old Crystle Stewart was chosen from among 121 contestants. She will represent Texas at next year’s Miss U-S-A pageant. She’s a model and a student of consumer science and merchandising at University of Houston. (source)
