Remember some months back when the Comedy Network blocked out a scene in South Park because it portrayed the Prophet Muhammad?
“But at the point at which “South Park” viewers should have seen Muhammad handing a football helmet to one of the toons of “Family Guy,” the screen went black and on that was the message:
“Comedy Central has refused to broadcast an image of Muhammad on their network.” (source)
Comedy Central apparently does not hold the same standard when it comes to the Christian faith:
Comedy Central consummated its season of “the Sarah Silverman Program” last night by featuring the title character having sex with God, and then trying to brush him off after a night of lovemaking.
Later in the clip
At that point, Silverman’s cell phone starts ringing and the embittered God character zips up his pants. At the conclusion of the episode, Silverman knees God in the groin. (source)
