After the fact just isn't the same. Truth is, one would need to talk to him, and his whole alleged 'gang', and probably the whole community at large. No sense focusing the radiation at one spot when the cancer has already metastasized... Fighting apathy is a son of a bitch. Opening ears is tougher than opening fire. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

But Casper may never go home again. He is facing a felony murder charge in the Sunday shooting of Kenneth Dear, who would have turned 17 Friday if he had not been shot and killed Sunday night. Kentwood police have charged Casper with Dear's murder, one they say was gang related. Judge William Kelley denied Casper any bond, based on the seriousness of the charge. "You're looking at life in prison without parole" the judge told Casper. He also told the defendant: "I would hope other people see what's happening here and they be deterred and they decide not to follow in your footsteps."
