Just don’t eat. At this point we can’t drink the water, soda cans have rat urine on them, bottle water is nothing but tap water without folride, etc… The honorable Elijah Muhammad wrote a book “how to eat to live” I suggest everybody pick it up. I think people should just be smart. Eat more fresh food. Don’t over cook your meat. Stop eating so much processed food. Sooner or later every product turns out to be bad. Just move to a farm and grow your own food and raise your own animals.

Speaking of farm-fresh food, I remember eating the fresh tomatoes out of our garden growing up. Talk about fresh and sweet! Eventually I am wanting to do the same thing with our kids. The stuff out of the grocery stores are just crap.

I was never real big on strawberries until I moved out here to CA. Because most of the produce supplied to the rest of the US comes from out here, we have the fortunate opportunity to get much of our produce pretty fresh. Depending on what stand you go to, the strawberries out here are HUGE and very sweet when it is in season. Chips and things of that nature are “dead” foods, but they are sho’ good.

Yea I agree extremes are the enemy you have to think all foods were not made to destroy us because food is our nourishment, it just has taken on too many forms and preservatives which are intended for good have become enemies. I say don’t extremify and teach this to your kids not only by word of mouth but through actions took. My mind often drifts back to what our eating conditions were in the pre-industrialized world and I just can’t believe that we are worse off nowadays. Has evil outweighed good ? I tend to think not but we are dying much much earlier and that has to be linked to what comes out and what goes into our mouthes. Common sense and self education are our only predominant allies.

The only thing our ancestors had over us was natural spring water or wells underneath the earth which still exist today otherwise they were still eating animals, and other fruits but without the additives which can prove to be dangerous. I say study the old ways of eating and take out anything to do with cows(cheese didnt exist,no sour cream,or any other dairy by products) and pigs(just a disgusting animal that I believe eats its own fecal matter) and even chicken(todays processing or shall I say the number of chickens there are that gets to stores and fat(yes fat) food restaurants so quickly), the black mans kryptonite and i be on it. A lot of it is in cooking for yourself and as Dead Prez passionately said on Lets Get Free, “be careful how you season and prepare your food cause you dont want to lose vitamins and minerals and thats the jewel live breeds life its valuable so I eat what comes from the ground its natural” — SEE not all hip hop is self destructive some of us did learn.
