JACKSONVILLE — The National Urban League has chosen Jacksonville to host one of five national Economic Empowerment Centers.
The local center will launch March 14, becoming the fifth of five national locations implemented by the Urban Entrepreneur Partnership. The program seeks to increase minority entrepreneurship, business development and job creation in cities where economic development is lacking, said Charles Reynolds, director of the EEC. The new facility will be operated through the Jacksonville Urban League at its headquarters. (more…)
