My criticism here is directed towards folks who have a problem of saying what he said about Blacks and personal responsibility in Selma. If what he is saying is true, yet we feel that we have to take caution of &lt;b&gt;how &lt;/b&gt;whites interpret this truth then yes, we are circling the wagons as I described.</description>

Second, I think Obama in his speech at Selma moved back and forth quite astutely between the need for personal responsibility and the need for supportive, well-funded educational and social programs.
