The tabloid-friendly Grey’s Anatomy star will be appearing in a public service announcement on behalf of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, the organization confirmed to E! Online.
Continuing his image makeover in the wake of his verbal slipup at the Golden Globes in January, which provoked outrage from several civil rights groups, including GLAAD, Washington is planning to shoot the PSA in the next few weeks. (more…)

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Isaiah Washington has decided this is not a good year to try for an Emmy Award.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” star, who came under fire after using an anti-gay slur, didn’t submit his name for nominations consideration, Washington’s publicist, Howard Bragman, said Friday.

Let me remind readers that Howard Bragman by his own PR is in fact an openly gay publicist (He was part of the deal when Washington sought “forgiveness” from gay community representatives within Hollywood).
“Toby” comes to mind here.
My guess here is that within 5 years, Washington will have either walked completely away from the Hollywood community to go to Broadway or make a complete jump altogether. With this brotha being married (to a woman), I don’t know how much she could take seeing him being reduced to a Black puppet for the gay community.
