Hey Liberals, can you spare a brutha a dime?
on January 20th, 2005 at 7:33 amFor all of those that will be taking part in the “Not one damn dime†event, this will be a very good time to put all of those dimes (which according to the website is enough to halt the US retail economy for one day) to good use.
The inner cities across America (which Liberals conveniently use as a backdrop for their cause) could certainly use all of those dimes. For years Liberals has joined their voices with those in tha hood to speak out against oppression and the increase of lack in the black community. Here is just a shortlist of ways your dimes can begin to make a difference:
Purchase newer school books and supplies for one poor child
Pick one starving person in the hood and see to it that they never go to bed hungry again
Help at least one homeless person get permanently off the streets
Sponsor healthcare for at least one city block for a year
Shop at black-owned businesses (at least one)
Help a black college like Clark Atlanta to get completely out of debt
Pick one high school in the inner-city where the building structure is unstable and unhealthy to the students and teachers and pay to have that building renovated.
Sponsor the family of at least one US soldier so that he/she does not have to worry about finances when they come back from Iraq or Afghanistan.
Help at least one black person find a job
Pay day care expenses for at least one single mom
Pay for all the legal expenses for at least one black inmate
So as you can see, your dimes can go very far. Especially to the most loyal group to your cause: The black community
