Omega Psi Phi Challenges Suspension

Southern University

The Omega Psi Phi fraternity chapter at Southern University is appealing the university’s three-year suspension of the chapter on grounds that the hazing victim could not properly identify all his assailants and that charges should be brought against individuals, not the chapter. (more…)

***Man, this is all I could dig up for this week. This is the ongoing problem that I face when trying to spotlight many of our black news media sites—they are extremely slow to update. Even blackpressusa.com (a site that represents most of the major black newspapers in the US) only updates about once a week.
