bboxereots Boxer should be KOd

NewsMax.com provides a rather interesting perspective on Sen. Barbara Boxer in light of her fiery line of questions aimed at Dr. Condi Rice. I think that all of us knew that it would not be easy for Condi (and quite frankly, it shouldn’t. After all, the role of Secretary of State is not just another office job); however, Boxer clearly crossed the line by accusing Dr. Rice of using “falsehoods” (i.e. calling her a liar) about WMD in Iraq. Then she made the following statement: (full story)

“I personally believe – this is my personal view – that your loyalty to the mission you were given, to sell this war, overwhelmed your respect for the truth”

Oh, no she didn’t go there!

Let the record show that she felt very differently about the US conducting a military response for possible WMD in Iraq when then President Clinton was at the helm. Again, here is NewsMax:

“The president had no choice but to act today,” she said in a statement issued by her office. “Anyone who questions the timing of his decision ignores the fact that we committed a month ago to act if [chief U.N. weapons inspector] Richard Butler reported that Saddam was not cooperating.”

“These critics are blinded by political considerations,” Boxer added.

No Barbara, It is YOU that is blinded. You use the cases of abuse of the detainees down in Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib to forward your own sorry political aspirations while you defecate on record and reputation of Dr. Rice. Then, you jump on the voter disenfranchisement bandwagon just long enough to get a picture of yourself crying as if you really cared for black folk.

Shameful!
