redding Another good option for news from a black perspective

I have said many times that if you want to get mad at something, read the vast majority of black news websites. Sites such as blackpressusa.com always seem to find and focus on those stories where a white person got caught rolling their eyes at a black person when actually the person just had something in their eyes. In other words, addendum news (for the lack of a better description).

Robert “Rob” Redding Jr. for reddingnewsreview.com offers a fresh perspective to the ty-erd mix. Here is a little bit about his site:

In under three years, Redding News Review has been recognized by legacy media for its hard hitting nonpartisan coverage of black news and beyond.

Started March 25, 2002 – as a part of Editor & Publisher Robert “Rob” Redding’s now syndicated radio shows – Redding News Review – the news portal’s scoops have been acknowledged or linked to by BET, MSNBC, Roll Call, The Baltimore Sun, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Washington Times, The National Newspaper Association, The Drudge Report and many more. (View Redding News Review in the news).

And here is his editorial philosophy:

Redding News Review’s Independent Editorial Philosophy

Grounded in God and forwarded in faith Redding News Review exposes the partisan political nature of government – while bringing attention to minority issues ignored or buried by mainstream media – with up-to-the-minute credible, competitive and consistent coverage. Readers are welcome to review reported news events on the site’s message board.

When you go to his site, you will see that he follows a very familiar format (Matt Drudge), so you get your news without all the fluff.
