I don’t necessarily see the “scandal” in this story. News is typically negative and antaganistic, so why wouldn’t ABC counter the Inaugaral Celebration with an Iraq War military funeral. I would’ve been interested to hear what the family had to say. It wouldn’t have mattered if they were pro or anti war. The bottom line is Bush won. You all feel like the MSM is SO LIBERAL…yet, one would think that a force that powerful would have influenced the election in favor of the Left. It didn’t. Why?

What do you think the response would have been if Kerry would have won and Fox had done this? Think about that scenerio for a moment. Do you think ABC really cares about those soldiers, or are they just looking for story to dampen the Inauguration. They had since the begining of the war to do this kind of story and they decide to do it on that day. I think that is the point of this “dust up” in the blogsphere concerning this issue. As far as your last statement goes about MSM being Liberal and Kerry still not winning, the answer to that is quite simple: most people in this country still perfer to make up their own minds instead of having the media make it for them. Unfortunately that trend is slowly shifting. Wouldn’t you agree? Thanks for your comments. I will be checking out your site as well.

I am in agreement with Dean. It was a mistake to not declare war, as the news media does much to support and embolden the enemy.
