In my opinion, there are no true “Black Leaders”. Most so-called “Black Leaders” are

puppeteered by local white officials to do things in their best interests, not ours. Until

some drastic changes are made in the black community and the way we treat each

other, it will always be this way.

So, do you complain when conservatives use the term?

How about it when they apply it to, ohhhh, Jesse Lee Peterson?

There are people I admire and listen closely to whenever they speak, and I simply don’t consider their race, rather it is their words and ideas that mean something to me.

I greatly admire Ravi Zacharias, but I don’t consider him a great Christian leader from India, just a great Christian mind.

I do not care for Jesse Jackson. It has nothing to do with his skin color but his ideas.

I have to wonder, is it the people of America who consider this man or that man to be a ‘black-leader’, this man or that man to be a ‘hispanic leader’, or is it the media who gives us this labels?

Most, not all, persons I know are concerned with the content of a persons expressed ideas and not their heritage or their skin color.

I like Ravi Zacharias as well. Excellent teacher!! I try to listen to him everytime I get the chance. I had a chance to see him at Georgia Tech some years back.
