More random stuff n stuff.
“Assembled in a crowd, people lose their powers of reasoning and their capacity for moral choice. Their suggestibility is increased to the point where they cease to have any judgment or will of their own. … they are subject to sudden excesses of rage, enthusiasm and panic. In a word, a man in a crowd behaves as though he had swallowed a large dose of some powerful intoxicant. He is a victim of what I have called ‘herd-poisoning.’” (Aldous Huxley – “Brave New World Revisited”)

Was the cross always a “christian” symbol?

My view on helping the less fortunate is rooted in Matthew 25:14-30
In short, if somebody is willing to do max the abilities and resources the Lord has given them and they are still coming up short–reward them. On the flip, those who are simply sitting around and are being downright lazy, push them to the side and go after those who have demonstrated the desire to move ahead. I could expand on this, but I’m just keeping my overall point simple.
Of course, this excludes children and the mentally-challenged.
