An ol’ friend of mine who has been in the political world for some time had this to say regarding Gov. Mark Sanford~

“The purging of Republicans continue. Gov. Mark Sanford admits affair. The republican principle of limited government must be first understood as self government! If you cannot honor the vows to a woman who promised to be with you in “sickness and in health till death do us part”, how can you be expected to keep your word to constituents whom you have never met? May his family be in our prayers.”
