Just a quick word to say thanks for this candid disclosure. I am completing a book on the history of black gospel music and I have found an amazing amount of bias in historical records and, of course, in the comments of the self-proclaimed leaders of black Americans. Unfortunately, to them everything is about racism and division (bottom line is greed) but not about taking responsibility. I was excited to read Mr. Stern’s account in reference to African educators and leaders teaching their children the truth about the slave trade. Can you tell me where I might be able to find the book or article by Stern? I would love to read the entire article and I think it will be valuable information to reference in my book.
