The article goes on to mention the fact that on one occasion FBI director J. Edgar Hoover actually did record one of King’s affairs and sent the recording along with a letter to King’s wife.

Nothing can erase the King’s accomplishments within the Civil Rights movement. But in this society that has become addicted to the revelation of dark secrets of others we esteem, is King hands off?
