Who will help groom these boys into men? (6/28/09)
on June 28th, 2009 at 1:34 pmI’m going to restart featuring children available for adoption on this site again.
Javon likes meeting new people, reading books and playing with his toy dinosaurs. His teacher states that he is “a joy” because he is very motivated to read and is always asking for more books. Joshua is a lively talkative young boy who likes to do somersaults and flips in the yard, and loves anything Spiderman. Joshua will capture your attention with his enthusiasm and willingness to talk to you or draw pictures for you to take home.
Both boys love Harry Potter and can tell you many details about the characters and plots for the different books or movies. They also like to ride their bikes, and enjoy playing with the basketball and their toy trucks outside.
Javon likes animals, and has to show Joshua sometimes not to be afraid of the new Chihuahua puppies their foster mother just got. Joshua laughs when he pets them for a couple seconds and then takes a few steps back.
These boys have been living in their current foster home since coming into care. They therefore have been able to form a strong attachment to their foster mother, and she in turn loves them very much. However, this foster mother is unable to adopt, so we are looking for a permanent home for these boys.
The perfect home would be one in which the parent or parents would help them with their homework, but also have fun playing with them on the weekends. These boys are looking for a home that would be able to give them the love and stability that they need and deserve.
