In this clip, David Axelrod gives the same type of answer most in the tank supporters of Obama are giving when it comes to health care “reform”. And that is a non-answer. Wolf Blitzer presents the argument that by allowing health insurers to compete across state lines that consumers will in the end benefit (if McDonald’s was the only hamburger joint in town, they could charge whatever they wish. Because they have to compete with the likes of Burger King, Wendy’s, Carl’s Jr., etc., they will do whatever it takes to get your business–including lowering their prices).

I just watched Rep. Chaka Fattah on Neil Cavuto and he was trying to make the case that the Excise Tax in the Baucus proposal currently being discussed was not a tax. It was like watching someone explain that water isn’t exactly wet. I could not find that clip, but here Fattah can be seen trying desperately trying to climb Mt. Impossible in another interview.

And this is why the peanut gallery has resorted to injecting race in this debate. None of them have a believable answer to give in this health care debate.

You Are Going To Eat My Rhetoric, Wolf
