Back when Obama requested for Secret Service protection during the campaign trail, many (and I mean MANY) held it up as an example that it was solely due to his race (never mind the fact that many who run for president also have made the same request. Never mind history).
So it is going to be interesting to see if the race hounds are quick to once again disavow history and conclude that Herman Cain’s recent request for Secret Service protection is also due to the so-called Jim Crow-esque environment here in the US.
And about that claim that it was a 400 percent increase of threats against Obama, we can put that myth to bed.
