From day one, people with common sense called the tragic Ft. Hood incident exactly what it was: Terrorism. But when one added “Islamic” in front of that word and suddenly you were jumping to conclusions and needed to be careful not to offend an entire religion.
Well the Obama administration just “went there” by finally stating the obvious:
“Violent Islamic terrorism … was part and parcel of the Ft. Hood killings,’ Napolitano told the Senate Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday morning. ‘There is violent Islamic terrorism, be it Al Qaeda in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen or anywhere else, [and] that is indeed a major focus of this department and its efforts.”
