Translation: Your people support this, why not you?
This brutha was on point. He should have asked her if she included any reports from Jewish organizations like the “American Jewish Committee” or the “American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).” He could have also asked if Jewish business leaders like Michael Dell or Ralph Lauren cared to weigh in on the matter.
And in case you still do not know, he OPPOSES the climate change bill.
It is interesting that only when an African Americans and/or a Hispanic person is offended it is a “racial” issue BUT when you get a Judge like Sotomayor over a decade stating that a “wise Latina makes better judgment than a white male”…means that she misspoke…reverse discrimination is acceptable?
I do believe that for over 40 years the Democrats have done everything in their power to convince African Americans that they are the party that represents them as a “group” as if they cannot think on their own.
As a landlord here in Los Angeles California I see the Democrats doing the exact same to the Hispanics from Centro America and Mexico in return for welfare dollars (rent, food) and votes. Sad but real. Of course the people themselves are at fault for not helping themselves, educating themselves and for ignoring the facts with the help of the Democrat Party.
Regarding to the CEO I was “proud” as Senator Boxer will say to see him speak up and challenge the California “Senator”. The conservative radio shows were also “proud” of the CEO for the passion that he had on telling the Madam Chairman the one that worked so hard for the tittle “Senator” in many words that she was going the wrong path. I could not believe my ears when I play the video.
Now, if this CEO will do the same with all the civil right leaders and any democrat “official and unofficial” black or white spokesman for the African American Community…then that will be progress.
More power for this man a business leader.
The Hispanic Leaders Democrats or Republican do not speak for me and/or my family.
Maybe I missed something. This is what you do in committees. You present evidence supporting your point of view. He wasn’t upset with the Pugh report just the NAACP. He made it racial she didn’t.
Saudia, here’s a portion of the resolution:
WHEREAS, meaningful climate change policy can create real public benefits including millions of good green-collar jobs and build an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty; and-
John Grant is not only the CEO of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, he’s also on the board of directors of the National Wildlife Federation , which partnered with the NAACP on the resolution. The NWF is certainly an advocate for a ‘green’ economy. First, Boxer spoke of the NAACP-and NWF- resolution. Second, she mentions Grant expressly as the CEO of 100, *conveniently not mentioning* that’s he’s the collaborator with the NAACP at the same time. That’s not “clearly a diversity of opinion” at all, that’s an affront. Then she had the nerve to throw in Big Oil. BP’s motto recently was Beyond Petroleum, but I venture to say that it will never stand for Building Photovoltaics. They have the exact same opinion on climate change because it’s the same people writing the resolution. That highly touted resolution is is like a cheap creme wafer: looks solid, but flaky and full of air.

Boxer got counter-punched in the chin hard!
“What does that mean?…’NAACP has a resolution’- what does that mean?…I got documentation.”
