I do not consider myself a member of the Tea Party and I have never attended any of their events. But I do recognize a double standard when I see one. There were a few signs that appeared at appeared at one or more Tea Party events that were racist in nature and the entire movement is considered to be fueled by racism. But for the #Occupy movement, sexual assaults, arson, drug usage, etc. should not be used to characterize the entire movement.
