But murder is different

Recently I debated a reader on this site on Black news coverage. He believed the reason why our online media spent more time on the senseless murder of a Black man in Mississippi by racist Whites vs. the ongoing flash mobs is because the former involved murder.

Here in the ATL, just about every day I read about some young Black man or family that has been killed by other Blacks. Today I read about a brutha who was shot on the job over $200 in a liquor store. The deceased was a father of a 7 month old.

Did the cops shoot him? NOPE.
Was he shot by Whites? NOPE.

Then it yet another “nigga takes bullet” story for our online Black media world.

The value of a Black life – in the mind of the Civil Rights Pharisees – is determined by the value of his KILLER.

When they can render an indictment against the larger society based on the hatred of this one killer – they affirm what they have been saying all along.
When the killer of a Black has his consciousness fused from within the Black community this tends to produce an indictment against the Civil Rights Pharisees so they are silent.
