Writer and Pastor D.L. Foster has been doing a series exposing clergy sex crimes within the Church of God in Christ denomination. While on the front end we are praying for healing, this mess that has been going on in the background has been permanently damaging folks for years. Any church that continues to hold on to leaders who abuse the flock like this is a false church.
Another reason why I barely listen to today’s “gospel” music.
On the cover of The Sound, the Campbells aren’t adorned in choir robes; they’re confidently wearing sexy black dresses. Tina argues that the dresses aren’t tight, just form-fitting.
“Sometimes, people think we’re a little bit sexy. I don’t have a problem with that,” she says. “I would like to think that I’m sexy. I have a husband who I would like to think that every time he sees me. Truth be known, I’m a woman. I would love to be appealing to men. It is not my endeavor [to] entice, to cause anyone to lust.” (source)
Earth to Mary Mary!! When you wear tight form-fitting dresses and you love the idea of being appealing to men, do you really believe that men will attracted to your “Godly” spirit, or to your breast and behind. I mean, really!
