Some of y’all may have remember me covering all the drama surrounding Locke High School in Los Angeles last year. In short, there was a much heated battle between parents and some teachers versus the local teachers union who was against allowing Green Dot (a for profit entity) to manage the school as a charter. Well, it looks like Green Dot has finally been given the GREEN light to manage the school.
May not seem like no big deal to you. But for these kids, they are finally getting the type of education they deserve.
