Have you Ever Seen a Green Black Person? (Part 1)

Update:

I guess I should respond to this quote~

“In the African American community, we need real rungs put back on the ladder of opportunity,” said Jones, former chief executive officer of Green for All. “President Obama is adding green rungs to that ladder.” (source)

Jones certainly got the last part of his statement correct. The problem is that there is no real market demand for those green rungs. The only demand we are seeing is being fueled by government standards being pushed on industries like construction.

This whole thing reminds me of how back in the 70′s, there was a similar push by the government for the US to convert to the metric system. It never really caught on with the people. Why? Because those of us (you and me) who drive the market had no demand for it. The “green” wave is simply a remix on steroids.
