I just repaired all the links under RESEARCH. So now you will be able to download all the PDF files I have uploaded so far to my server. Once I really get the time, I will upload more files, studies, articles, etc., I collected over the years.

Here’s an excerpt from the African American Entrepreneurship: The View from the 1910 Census

One of the most striking findings of this study is that in 1910 African-Americans were more likely than white Americans to be employers, and almost as likely as whites to be self-employed (Table 1). This contrasts with the current period in which African-Americans are only a third as likely as whites to work in their own businesses. This raises questions about claims, such as those of Light , that African-American culture is unsupportive of entrepreneurial activity, or tha”cultural differences may explain black white differentials in self-employment”.

It’s an interesting study. Check it out when you get the chance.
