(CNN) – Members of President Obama’s own political party are charging that the White House and the Democratic Congressional leadership are not doing enough to help the unemployed and are threatening to organize a march on Washington of jobless Americans.

“Obviously there’s something that’s not getting through to them,” said Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Illinois. “And we’re going to let the White House and everybody who’s concerned know that we have got people in our districts who are depending on us to deliver for them.” (more…)

Democrats had no problem demonizing the private sector and voting for policies that either deeply regulated or heavily penalized businesses. Now with midterm elections just around the corner, all of a sudden they want to create a “tea party” of their own and place their demands on Obama. I’m guessing that there will be no yelling and no angry crowds since the left just called these actions “unpatriotic” and “impolite” earlier this year.
As for the “jobs bill” itself? It’s nothing more than a union payoff.

“Among ideas being floated for the jobs package are investing in infrastructure, bolstering loans for small business, and aiding states and cities to prevent layoffs of teachers, police officers and other public employees.”

P.S., If you are truly jobless, I doubt you are going to use the little money you know have to travel to Washington just to walk down the street.
