During the election of 2008 I noted that the popular question in the news media (White and Black) was "Can White Americans overcome their racial bigotry and vote for a Black man if they believe he is the best candidate to serve their interests?". Those who dared to put their racial "hatred" over their political choices were ostracized.

At that time I noted that the "next logical question" was never asked.

I observed that this same "racialism" was never asked about the BLACK VOTER. While the White voter was expected to be open minded and asked to "evolve" - nothing was asked about the Black voter. In my analysis the proper assignment for the Black voter nullification that is present is not "Black racism" - instead it is more accurately BLACK IDEOLOGICAL BIGOTRY.

Today the average Black American lives in a local environment that has an array of politicians of his own choosing. If there are more than 35% of a Black voting base in this local district they are Democrats who run the board. As such the present situation with Obama needs to be considered from an architectural view. The "Democratic Machine" that is present locally extends vertically into the federal government. In some cities - a Black person living in Baltimore, Chicago, Newark, Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Cleveland does not have a Republican representative or legislative body to represent him at any level. Despite this this Black voter is more inclined to vote AGAINST his permanent enemy than he is to focus upon and "punish" those who actually have elective power. (Thus all of the focus upon Sarah Palin in the Black press and blogesphere rather than the politicians that actually hold an office over them).

With Obama at 90% approval rating amongst Blacks yet Black people in the places where this same Democratic machine has most control also being among the most unemployed in this nation - the questions that were drilled home to the White voter are due to be asked of the Black.

The claim is that "the Black voter knows who has his best interests in mind and thus votes as such". This is what I heard Prof Manning Marable say. This is an outright lie. The evidence on the ground shows clearly that the Black voter is infected with Voter Nullification. A Black Establishment operative only needs to bring forth the claim of RACISM as a means of derailing any chance that the politician that failed our people for the results that have been rendered. Defensiveness related to the "siege mentality" is more powerful within many of us than the dispassionate analysis that is required to get ourselves out of this situation.

Some of us have the ability to MOVE AWAY from a failing local environment yet continue voting for the progressives. Thus they can remove their "skin from the game" as it relates to the impact on their child's education, the threat from crime or the loss in property values yet continue to vote in a manner that their "real blackness" is retained.

That 1% may be just noise.

For results based on the sample of 732 nonwhites, the maximum margin of error is ±5 percentage points.
