Micheal Jackson said in an interview with Opera that he wanted to be like Jesus. I think that means a lot. Anyhow, only God truly knows what was in his heart during his final minutes. Let's just all pray for his soul. That's all we can do now.

God bless.

The Bible says What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his soul. When Jesus walked on earth he said you would know He is from the Father because He did not testify of himself. We, the church glorifies the Lord through the Holy Ghost. We speak of Jesus and the reason he died on the cross. Its not just about love or kindness, but you cant get into heaven without accepting ehat Jesus did on calvary. If we could without his shed blood there would be alot of people n Heaven because they were nice or talented, or even rich. I dont know where Michael is and it would be ashamed if he lost his soul after being known by millions. I respect his talent, his charity, but it means nothing to God. It sounds harsh , but Jesus paid an awful price for our redemption. I pray the merciful God we served, knowing that his death was at hand reached out and offered him His son before he departed this world one last time. I thank God because he is not like men who are ready to put you in hell or heaven. I feel there will be many in heaven you though wouldnt be there and many who you though would wont be seen. God bless the Jackson family - no judgements..we just better make sure we are ready. Seek you own soul salvation with fear and trembling!

It's quite interesting how some Christians think that one must openly confess to the whole world that one accepts Jesus Christ as Lord in order to be accepted into the Kingdom of heaven. That sounds more like religious doctrine. Did that criminal who was on the cross next to Jesus have time to come down from there and declare to all that would hear that he had accepted Jesus? Did he have time to run around and witness? Did he have time to study the technicalities of being a Christian? No he didn't. All he said was 'Remember Me.' Jesus saw that his heart was genuine and at that moment, because of his sincerity, he was to have eternal life with Christ.

I had been feeling really strong convictions to pray for Michael Jackson. And I can tell you that those convictions don't come out of thin air. It was inspired by God and I know that in my heart. This has nothing to do with how talented Michael was. But it has everything to do with how God used him to touch the lives of millions.

Our ways are not His ways and His ways are not our ways. Yeah sure the Bible says many things but in the end, God is the one who judges, not us. He is the only one who sees the hearts of people.

People tend to forget that Michael had a lot of Christian spiritual advisors around him. I'm very sure that these people witnessed to him. He associated with many born-again Christians. I don't believe that he converted to Islam. Things are not as they seem. And believe me. You will be very surprised at who you see up in heaven…That is, if you make it.

I have just witnessed the celebration of MJ on CNN. Being a Christian I was totally caught of guard by the many people who professed that MJ is with Jesus in Heaven. After his death, I began to search for evidence that he had renounced mysticism (occult), Jehovah's Witness, and Islam. I found nothing indicating that he had confessed his sin, and accepted Jesus ONLY as his SAVIOR and LORD. I respect MJ's great talent, and all of his generosity, but the BIBLE SAYS that the only way we will live eternally with God is through the acceptance of HIS SON Jesus Christ! It is not by our works, that we are saved. MJ seemed to embrace many "gods", and although he had been given many talents - unfortunately all the good works that he did are simply works of his flesh and don't indicate that he was a Believer in Jesus Christ Alone. Sadly, when I read in Vanity Fair that he had hired a Voodo Doctor to place a curse on Steven Spillberg, and 23 other people he considered his enemies, I realized that he had no knowledge of God's Word in his heart. It is my hope that before he drew his last breath, he repented and asked Jesus to forgive him of his sins. If he did not, then sadly he is not with Jesus - we are not granted salvation on the basis of our talent, popularity, benevolence, kind hearts and "good deeds". Salvation comes through no other name, or method but Jesus Christ!

I am a Christian and could care less if "the world" loves me, because all that matters is Jesus. "The world" is messed up. MJ was a tremendous entertainer. Christians want to know if he was a Christian, not to jump on the band-wagon, but to know if he is with God for eternity. If he is not with God, he is in hell. Christians do not want anyone to be in hell. MJ did a tremendous amount of work for charity. He spoke of "love" many times. But if he did not accept Jesus as his Savior, then he was not a Christian. I pray that he at some point DID accept Christ and that his family will also accept Christ through these turbulent times.

Michael has gone but who knows where - God has the answer- lets await Judgement to come.

There were many like Nicodemus who had deep conversations with Jesus Christ (God) and asked Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him." Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." The Gospel of John chapter 3:2,3)

I think there is always this push to have culture accept your beliefs, and Michael Jackson was definitely a popular cultural icon, so it makes sense that there would be this rush to define his religious identity. I somewhat feel that this cheapens the beauty of the religions involved however - the truth is the truth, and it does not need to be associated with popular culture in order to spread. In fact, oftentimes the truth is so radically opposed to the societal ills that it is extremely difficult to have it accepted as a cultural norm. See the prophetic examples as evidence.

I think this is a very interesting topic. My father passed on Feb 22, 2009. He was indeed a Muslim. His new wife however is a life long catholic. To my surprise she agreed to bury him in the Muslim tradition. In her mind, that meant burying him facing east. I was livid at his funeral to hear Christian music being played, a choir singing, and people praying. It appears to be very hard for Christians to accept that a person has died without accepting Jesus. It is more disheartening for non believers to be completely disrespected by those Christians in our lives that feel they know best. I hope that someone in Michael's circle buries him as he would have liked be that Muslim, Christian Jehovah's Witness....

Well said. Whether MJ is a christian or not, that don't matter to the living anymore, right? If he is indeed one, then may he be back to God. If not, then it is sad his soul would most likely be in hell.

Whether liked (when Paul was in Berea) or not like (being chased out by the Thessalonians), we still have to present Christ as HE is.
