Parents at little league games can be just downright funny. A kid could make very little effort to get the ball and based on the parents on the sidelines, you would think the child just won the World Series. It is one thing to encourage someone, but overkill is something completely different. It also makes the person doing the overkill look stupid.
On the web and on television, people who make a living criticizing every flaw of those in the entertainment industry miraculously found Gabourey Sidibe just a picture of perfection. Skinny White actresses who gain one pound are clowned for being too fat. But for Gabby, she gets a collective “bless your heart” with nobody willing to honest about how her weight can and will have a negative impact on her Hollywood ride. This serves as yet another example of how flattery can oftentimes be dishonesty with a smile.
Apparently, the people that helped make Gabby (the press) are now wondering how to handle a Gabby with ‘tude.
"When asked for a picture, the less-than-enthused newbie star could barely crack a smile. One photo-seeking fan said jokingly, 'that's all you're going to give me,' to the pouty Precious. Gabby responded, 'you'll get what I give you.'
Later in the evening FishbowlDC overheard a Politico reporter asking Gabby for a quick interview. Gabby replied, 'one question' and then proceeded to give the reporter a one-word answer. When asked a follow up Q, not-so-Precious said, 'sounds like three questions, good night."
