Now I dare you to do the exact same search and replace the word “Blacks” with “Asians” or “Whites” and you will notice the difference.
Bottom line, there is an entire cottage industry out there fully invested in Black Failure Inc. While some of this is very true, it does not tell the complete story. No! You do not have to end up like that cousin or friend who died of cancer. No! You don’t have to be at a high risk for a stroke. There is hope, but you will never find it in the media.
What I found to be funny is that with all the talk over the years to have more Black faces in the newsroom and behind the TV news desk, many of them simply repeat the same script. But supposedly we are now content because a “Black face” is telling us the same thing. Same news.
But you do not have to repeat it.

Now it’s the fault of a cottage industry dedeicted to black failure. Better than blaming it on the man I guess.

Place the blame were it belongs on the INDIVIDUAL. Facts are facts no matter who reports them. My grandmother didn’t understand when raising her children thy collard greens with fat back and fried chicken every night would lead her to be a 500 lbs diabetic with heart disease. I do have this information. I know about eating better, gaining an education, etc… If in 2010 you can’t correct or mitigate these issues then hey its because you choose not to do so.
