I didn’t even have to read this entire piece to know that this brutha was on to something.

The Left Wants Obama to be Hated

Case in point. There are three basic valid points conservatives have raised in this debate I have yet to see anyone from left address. Personally, I would like to see these points addressed in order.

1. The 47 million uninsured number – From President Obama on down, the left have repeated this number without addressing the fact that many of the uninsured in this country either chose not to be insured or should not be insured in the first place (i.e. illegals). I addressed that here.

2. Most polled Americans are satisfied with their current health coverage: “In late July, a Time magazine poll found that 55 percent of Americans rate their health care system as “only fair” or “poor.” Six-in-ten have a negative view of private health insurance companies’ job performance. But 86 percent of Americans still said, when asked, that they were satisfied with their own health care plan.”

3. Back in April, Paul Shepard (Democrat blogger for BlackVoices) recalled Obama’s pledge to “closely scrutinize the budget line-by-line for wasteful spending to asking department heads in his cabinet to trim their budgets..”. Shepard later asked the simple question “Isn’t that what all elected officials, including our president, are elected to do?” He’s absolutely right. However, that line of think is naive in the world of politics.

“When the 1071-page stimulus bill came up on Friday, February 13–less than 24 hours after its final text had finally been published–CNSNews.com reported that several senators said they would not read the bill before voting on it, blaming the limited time between the publication of the final bill and the vote on it.

Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D.-N.J.) candidly admitted that no one in Congress would have time to read the bill before voting on it, and no member contradicted him.

“No, I don’t think anyone will have the chance to [read the entire bill],” Lautenberg said at the time.” (more…)

So why is it so important to pass this health care bill yesterday if the main elected officials who are pushing it have not read it?

Based on the points that I raised, is this bill really that important that the American economy must be pushed further into debt for only 1/3 (or 16 million) “uninsured” individuals?

Now as you can see, these are some very basic points. Instead, what we are hearing from both the left and their part-time surrogates is that if you do not agree with the President, we must take it as a personal insult against him. I see way too much “analysis” on Joker posters, swastikas, racist e-mails sent by idiots and not enough guts to address facts. Currently, the biggest fact is that most Americans are against Obama’s health care reforms according to both Gallup and Rasmussen. Why not address that reality instead of playing “pin the swastika on the town hall protester”?
