Nope you are correct he is going where the tea party hasn’t. But he’s also using the UAW to try and get jobs? When does a UNION give a job? The union is labor for a business. And lately they are ANTI-JOBS.

Je$$e and $harpton IMO, are not helpful to the african-american community. (I do hate that hyphen) The only time they show up for anything is when it benefits them, and more often than not the guys are WAY OFF BASE on the issue.

I’ll give ya this though. He is keeping the democrats front and center as the “Party that cares” even though the exact opposite is true. I believe they may care, but I liken it to a mother and father that keep their kids in the house till they are 30 yrs old… They care so much that they have suffocated them and they will not be prepared to think for themselves.

I know all about how the union connection and I certainly do not agree with that at all. My point is that Jesse is using politics to drive home the Democratic message to those areas to address issues that hit on a personal level. As I said before, the NRA would find a lot of recruits in these areas due to the high crime. There are a lot of people in these areas that would love to learn about the benefits of gun ownership and gun safety. Many families in these areas are tired of relying on the police to protect their homes.

More and more families in these areas are turning to home school as an option for their children. While Democrats fight against school choice, many of them freely exercise it with their own families. A campaign that directly deals with this issue and points to success stories would also be effective. I could go on and on..

Okay Duane, I agree with you about this. I am NOT a high powered individual, I work for a fortune 500 company in a very low management position. (It’s a living, and it’s provided me the ability to raise 2 great kids who are both over 22 now) How do WE start something like that? I’m going to push very hard in my area to get some of the local tea party folks to THINK and ACT on this idea. I don’t exactly know how much luck we will have in it without some “Cred”.

I think what is needed is an Anti-Jesse. Someone who can come in to those areas and counter the “Blame Whitey” rhetoric with a positive message of “It’s within YOUR GRASP” You don’t need to blame someone for your positions, you need to change your position. Overcome is not just a slogan.

Actually, some if the main people who have the power to make some of this happen read this site on a daily basis. They do not comment (like most readers), but they are quite aware that I exist.

For them, it comes down to one thing: will.

Your efforts are wonderful and I am so glad you are taking the time to try to understand my point of view. But the choice to take this course of action is ultimately up to both the leadership in the Tea Party movement and the Republican party at large. Trust me, they know what needs to be done which is why it has been comfortable for them to resort to just doing these Black press conferences all the way in DC. They do not answer to the press. They answer to the American people!

Hahahaha.. Man I tell you we got some real winners among my people…I sent an email to a local tea party leader. I spelled out our conversation and your opinions (As well as mine) And this is what I got back.

As of right now we don’t have the resources to tackle this issue. We are focused on taking back the country.”

Talk about clueless. So I’ll go to the next level.

The particular tea party that I contacted is pretty small. They seem to only meet to whine about issues and drink coffee while socializing…Oh well, Onward.
