Straight up, Al Qaeda is the scum of the earth and really not worth the time talking about. But their actions (or lack thereof) this week was something worth talking about briefly.

This week, President Obama suggested the organization of being (*gasp*) racist for the recent attacks that killed 74 people in Uganda as they watched the World Cup. Now I do not think that there are too many people out there who are going to go to the nth degree to separate the ugly accusation of racism from Al Qaeda. Why? Because when you are an organization that is known for blowing things and people up, do we really care if our accusations are “off” about them?

Since Obama made the accusation, not once did we see immediate responses posted on websites on how the accusations were false and baseless. Al Qaeda’s response? The West is made up of infidels and we will destroy you. Plain and simple. No press releases. Just silence as they prepare for their next show of deadly foolishness.

This week, another accusation of racism was made. This time it was the NAACP who criticized the some of the imagery caught on youtube or random pics of Tea Party members who injected race in their criticism of Obama. Those who read this site should know exactly how I feel about today’s NAACP, so their is no need for me to go there to discuss their own hypocrisy on the subject. The NAACP is an organization that continues to push itself into irrelevance and is the same organization that has admitted its failure to recruit younger people into the fold. Yet when their accusations were made regarding the Tea Party movement, many conservatives felt the need to ferociously respond to this one-trick pony organization. Why waste the time amplifying what is irrelevant? If there is any truth to it, deal with it. If not, conservatives should keep it moving and continue to enjoy the political momentum that has been swinging in their favor for months.

But this is politics, not common sense.
