Spring time is just about here which means have once again decided to change the look of the site.
I wanted a format where I could highlight the podcast element of Blackinformant.com. In just over 2 months, the number of subscribers to the show has doubled. I am indeed very grateful to all of you who take the time to download the show or just listen to it here on the site. This is something that I am indeed very proud of and try my best to make each show better than the last one.
Secondly, I wanted a format where I could highlight up and coming independent artist who I feel add a unique and much needed ingredient to both the music and film industries. I have been very fortunate enough to have both known (and will know) and have met many people in both industries and I just want to do my part to get the word out about the great work that they do. There are not many venues online that focus exclusively on Black independent filmmakers and artist. With the latest change to this site, my hope is that we will start a new trend.
Other changes you will see:
The “Video” link that was located in the main menu has gone “bye-bye”. Hopefully by the end of summer I will have a real video link that will feature videos produced by yours truly.
I just added a “Beauty” link in the main menu. This will take you to my wife’s website beautylifestream.com. As I said the other day, this page is all about addressing the whole woman. There you will find links to podcasts, videos, and her thoughts on how women can improve themselves from both the inside and outside.
Throughout today I will be still tweaking here and there, so you will continue to see slight changes.
I want to again take this time and thank each and every one of you who come to this site on a daily basis. I am always completely humbled by the amount of people who make the choice to come here. This is why despite the many hours I put into this site, I do not ask my readers to donate money (now if you want to drop a hundred or two that you are not using, I’m no fool–I’ll take it (LoL!).) But seriously, I am doing what I love and the numbers help me to gain access to people I would normally would not have. So thank YOU!.
Y’all take care and again thanks for both your readership and listenership.
