Some of you have been…let’s say a little tired of me constantly bringing up how ACORN has been getting away with voter fraud by the same folks who would normally raise pure hell if it were a bunch of White men in White sheets scaring Black folks away from the polls. Well apparently the rule of thumb “follow the money” does tell the whole story.

Obama to amend report on $800,000 in spending

By David M. Brown
TRIBUNE-REVIEW

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign paid more than $800,000 to an offshoot of the liberal Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now for services the Democrat’s campaign says it mistakenly misrepresented in federal reports.

An Obama spokesman said Federal Election Commission reports would be amended to show Citizens Services Inc. — a subsidiary of ACORN — worked in “get-out-the-vote” projects, instead of activities such as polling, advance work and staging major events as stated in FEC finance reports filed during the primary.

FEC spokeswoman Mary Brandenberger said it is not unusual for campaigns to amend reports, even regarding large sums of money.

But, said Blair Latoff, spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee: “Barack Obama’s failure to accurately report his campaign’s financial records is an incredibly suspicious situation that appears to be an attempt to hide his campaign’s interaction with a left-wing organization previously convicted of voter fraud. For a candidate who claims to be practicing ‘new’ politics, his FEC reports look an awful lot like the ‘old-style’ Chicago politics of yesterday.” (more…)

So an organization that has been trouble repeatedly in multiple states across the country for doing things like filling out ballots with names of people that do not exist (OFTENTIMES IN POOR BLACK DISTRICTS) are paid under the table to campaign for Obama?

While reading this article this morning, my son was looking over my shoulder and asked me “Why would someone want to hide $800,000″?
“Why do you hide stuff?”, I asked.
“Because I don’t want anyone to find it.”, he said.
“Son, you just one of your first lessons in politics”.

Now I sure in a little bit we will be hearing from folks who are going to try to find the moral equivalence in McCain. Fine. To do so would do nothing but underscore my point that besides skin color, both of them are alike in many ways and that Obama is just an ordinary politician–which is why neither of them will get my vote.

Uh-oh! This stuff just keeps coming.

More voter registration workers under scrutiny
Aug. 20, 2008

Milwaukee’s election chief on Wednesday turned 32 more voter registration workers in to the district attorney’s office for possible prosecution, saying they tried to submit falsified registration cards.

That brings to 39 the number of registration workers under scrutiny, and the number could grow, Election Commission Executive Director Sue Edman said. An organization warned the commission staff late Wednesday afternoon about some questionable cards in the latest batch collected by its workers, Edman said. (more…)
