Court of Public Opinion: Guys That Cheat on the Gorgeous

Some narratives are easy to swallow than others.
By now, many of y’all should be somewhat familiar with the Lisa Raye/Michael Misick drama. Here you have a guy who is married to a very beautiful woman only to cheat on her just months after committing his love to her. Now I’m quite aware of the fact that the headlines never tell the whole story (perhaps she was just too much drama–still not a valid excuse to cheat on your wife IMO), but for most folks, the idea of cheating on a woman who many many men would kill to be with is beyond comprehension.
This type of drama has been played out over and over again from the hills of Hollywood to yo’ hood. Are some bruthas just that crazy, or is it something else? Sound off.

1) It dosen’t matter how beautiful she is, some guy, somewhere, is tired of having sex with her.
2) Guys who cheat on their wives have self esteem issues.

co-sign w/ wil, but it’s not just about sex. no matter how fine the woman is, at some point, a man is just gonna get tired of puttin up with her ish. that’s what happens between any two people. sometimes, if she’s yay fine, it might buy a little extra time, but if there’s not a real commitment to the person, and not just her appearance, there’s no shot.

That’s an age old question isn’t it? My wife is fine and I love her VERY much…. If Halle Berry (or someone equivalent) came over, opened up her legs, and said do whatever you want… I have to be honest and say I don’t know if I could turn that down… But since that will NEVER happen I don’t have much to worry about. But if I was a KING!!.. Maybe it wouldn’t be so far fetched. And Rocsi ain’t half bad herself… Her head is a little too big for my taste but she is still pretty fine.

There are many women that I think are pretty and beautiful yet they do not make my blood boil. On the otherhand there are many attractive women with enormous amounts of “sex appeal” that turn me on to no end.
Beauty and sexual attraction are NOT the same thing!

I think the funny yet sad thing about this particular story is that it serves as yet another reminder that looks aren’t everything. You can look fine as all get out (spend $$$ of weaves, spend $$$ and time on make up and clothes) and still be cheated on. Looks alone ultimately don’t keep a man, but it certainly grabs his attention. Some men just have ADD when it comes to the other stuff and some women are just plain c-razy.

I dont know about you but some women look like wife material while others no matter how beautiful just do NOT.
Most men that are serious about choosing a mate do NOT go after those “over the top” chicks. They tend to go after the more wholesome (but still fine) looking women that are not “advertising” their availability for ALL men to see. Just those with the proper sense!

Well in this case it would seem that he just followed her lead (if true) as she supposedly had an affair with gary payton. Two wrongs don’t make it right but it is obvious that these two weren’t ready to commit to a relationship.

So am trying to guage from the above conversation, that pretty looking women aren’t just marriage material.
I have been in such situations many times, where a guy goes instantly ga ga over you, even if you have just met for minutes in a pub and you both know you will never see each other again ( because the both of you live in different countries) and he keeps in touch with you for months and keeps telling you over and over again how gorgeous and pretty and beautiful you are.
And six months later it all dies out and slowly you cease to hear more from him …..and you wonder why you met him in the first plc , how did you even catch his attention , why did he bother writing to you and sometimes you really wonder if looks are worth it when you hear from him no more
