(nypost.com) PERSIA White has pulled out the race card to explain why her CW sitcom, “Girlfriends,” isn’t more popular. “We always hoped it would get the same kind of credit that other shows like ‘Sex in the City’ got,” White tells Steppin’ Out’s Chaunce Hayden. “But sadly enough, the fact that we’re a female minority show, the press has been really, really hard on us. It has a lot to do with why we don’t get much attention . . . the press has kept us segregated and kept us out of the mainstream.” (source)

For starters, your show is on… the… CW (formally UPN) versus ‘Sex and the City” which started on HBO and is now in syndication. Second, ‘Sex and the City’ ran for 6 seasons with 94 episodes while ‘Girlfriends’ is still running at 8 seasons with 169 episodes (thanks Wikipedia!).

Cry me a big, stinkin’ river and be happy that you still have a job.
