Parents worry that schools go too far with diagnoses

More and more students go to school for an education and come home with a referral to a doctor’s office.

While some education experts say this is a good thing, an indicator that teachers and child study teams are becoming more adept at detecting such neurological disorders as attention deficit disorder (ADD), many parents feel the school system is overstepping its bounds. (more…)
